One and many (Singular and plural)

What is the difference between the singular and the plural form and how to use them properly with your online German teacher. One is used to talk about singular nouns such as thing, person or place while many is used to talk about plural nouns, more than one (person, place, thing and so on). There are exceptions with irregular nouns that will practiced with different exercises.
