We discussed in the class the short story "Eveline" by James Joyce. The main character, Eveline, faced the big question: to leave her hometown or not. It wasn't clear before the class which point of view the author had. Together with Varvara we quoted text giving prove of both opinions. It was very interesting and useful in terms of language and literature.

Very nice session!

We had a good discussion about the short story "The Infant Prodigy" written by Thomas Mann. The story has a deep meaning, we talked about interpretation of the story. Besides this we studied differences in usage words enough and quite. The class was interesting and useful.
